The nature park can be booked for private events. Usually, the closure affects only the evening hours. On rare occasions, it can get closed during our tour hours. In this case, I will have to cancel the booking. A closure can be announced at any time, even on short notice, and is out of my control.

As a sole proprietor with a capacity of one tour per day, I can be fully booked far in advance.

Lake Blausee tour from Interlaken

Our journey in Interlaken starts with a one-hour train ride, which will take us through the scenic Kander valley. Afterward, we take a local bus for a short 10-minute ride, which will take us to the entrance of the Lake Blausee nature park.

No matter which season, or even the weather, Lake Blausee always offers impressive scenery and a magical atmosphere.

The nature park is a paradise for landscape photographers and nature lovers - a place to relax and enjoy. You can take a leisurely walk around the Lake and enjoy romantic hiking trails or visit the trout farm nearby the Lake. For kids, there is a children's playground available.

You can enjoy the fresh trout for lunch directly from the lakes fish farm or other tasty regional dishes in the adjoining restaurant (not included in the tour price).The lunch hours are : 11.30 AM - 2 PM (full lunch menu) 2 PM - 5 PM (afternoon snack menu)

Your guide can stay with you, or you can choose to enjoy this visit in private with your party. If you like, you can set a meeting time with your guide or text or call when you are ready to return to Interlaken.

You can stay up to three hours by the Lake. That gives you plenty of time to take in the scenery and to do the activities of your choice.

We have every half-hour a connection back to Interlaken. On the way back, we take either the same route as on the outbound or a slightly different one, depending on the departure time from Lake Blausee.

Customization possibilities:

You can choose to depart one hour earlier or up to two hours later (must be booked in advance).

You can spontaneously extend or shorten the visit by up to two hours. We have a connection once per hour back to Interlaken.

Please regard that your lunch is not included in the tour price.

This restaurant serves a range of meat and fish dishes. You can get here trout from the Blausee trout farm.

A few vegetarian dishes and a vegan dish are available.

Quick lunch:

There are convenience shops and sandwich outlets along our travel route, where you can grab a bite, either before or after the visit to the Gornergrat peak.

* This option may not be available at all times, especially during low season (i.e. April, November, and early December). If you want to eat at this restaurant, please let me know at the time of booking, so that I can check availability for our tour date.

I use the weather forecasts provided by the Federal Office of Meteorology and SRF (Swiss Radio and Television).
